Postnatal Wellbeing

Congratulations on the arrival of your baby! Those early days are so special, but can also be so hard!  Good postnatal support is key to helping you feel at your best at this time and, at Doncaster Wellbeing, supporting women is rather a passion of ours! As such, postanatal support is one of the focuses, with specialist pregnancy and postnatal study and qualifications.

We offer a range of services, from 30 minute relaxing massage or a facial, to comprehensive Postnatal Wellbeing packages. The deeply nurturing Closing the Bones ceremony is also offered (either as a private experience, or with your closest friends/family).

  • Massage therapy - incl. specialist study for pregnancy and postnatal work; Swedish; Trigger point, Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Technique (MET)

  • Reflexologyincl. specialist study for pregnancy and postnatal work (including working in 1st Trimester); endocrine (hormonal balancing) and reflexology lymphatic technique; plus preparing for birth.

  • Infant Reflexologysupporting you to support your baby with reflexology!

  • Aromatherapy - blending to soothe aches and pains of body, mind and soul; plus blending for the birthing room.

  • Energy work & Reikiwhere requested to support the physical therapies.

  • Weleda Wellbeing adviceincl. recommendations for natural medicines and remedies that may support you and your baby's wellbeing.

  • Closing the Bonespostnatal ceremony honouring the mother's journey and incorporating nurturing massage (including rebozo work)


A series of articles are planned to further explain the benefit of complementary therapies throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, do please get in touch.


During the lockdown period I am offering online consultations to support you with self help techniques, such as hand reflexology and facial massage (helpful for managing sumptoms of stress and anxiety).  Some are group based (suggested donation of £5.00), but private consultations are also available for £10.00 a session.

Closing the Bones

A postnatal celebration of the journey a mother has taken.  Including massage therapy and rebozo work.  Can be offered as a private session, or as part of a group celebration with friends and/or family and can be personalised to make it a truly meaningful and spiritual experience.

Infant Reflexology

Can be included as part of a Postnatal Wellbeing appointment, or booked separately as a half hour private appointment. 


Group sessions may also be booked - more information to come.

Mum and Baby Circles

When women join in circle, something magical happens! Connect with other mums in a meaningful way, and learn more about gentle parenting  techniques - including the use of slings to keep your baby close and therapy techniques to support yourself and your baby naturally.

This circle welcomes both pregnant and postnatal women (with 'babes in arms')
